Sample: Introduction to Renewal of Vows
    MINISTER: _____ years ago, you promised to love, honor and cherish each other for as long as you both should live. You have stayed together through good times and bad, through blessings and trials. Now you are standing here to reaffirm your wedding vows, to promise to love each other for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, from this day forward, for all the days of your lives.

Sample: Civil Renewal of Vows
    MINISTER: Please face each other and join hands.

    Repeat after me.

    HUSBAND:
    As we stand once again together to renew our vows of marriage, I promise to love, honor and cherish you.
    I, __________, once again offer you, _____________, my hand, and my heart, to be your lover, your friend, your partner and your husband for the rest of my life.

    Wife: (repeat after me)
    As we stand once again together to renew our vows of marriage, I promise to love, honor and cherish you.
    I, __________, once again offer you, _____________, my hand, and my heart, to be your lover, your friend, your partner and your wife for the rest of my life.

    MINISTER: As you have made your promises, you have renewed and refreshed your commitment and love for each other.

Sample: Religious Renewal of Vows
    We are gathered today on this joyous occasion as you renew your vows of love and loyalty to each other. God blessed you by joining you the two of you as one, and today He is blessing you as you renew the covenant of marriage.

    God has led you throughout your marriage, and today you are performing an act of faith, again, believing in each other and your marriage and reaffirming your wedding vows.

    Please join hands.

    (Repeat after me). HUSBAND: In the presence of our family and friends, as well as God, I again choose you as my wife. I renew my vows of love and loyalty. I promise to give continue to give my commitment to you and our marriage. I, _______, take you, ________, for my lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part.
